Questions before you book your trip
What visa do international participants usually use?
NYFAM's current guidance says many international participants apply for a B-l/B-2 visitor visa for short professional training. Applicants should verify their own visa requirements with the U.S. embassy or consulate serving their country.
Does NYFAM provide visa support documents?
The current site lists an official invitation letter, enrollment confirmation, detailed course schedule or agenda, payment receipt and training location verification among the documents available after enrollment.
Does NYFAM guarantee visa approval?
No. Visa decisions are made by U.S. government authorities. NYFAM can document the training program but cannot guarantee an application outcome.
Do I need a U.S. medical license to attend?
NYFAM’s international guidance says participants may attend as qualified medical professionals using credentials from their home country. Hands-on participation must still comply with applicable licensing, supervision and facility requirements.
Is accommodation included in tuition?
No. Accommodation is separate. NYFAM provides hotel and neighborhood guidance so participants can choose a stay convenient to the Midtown training location.
Should I book flights before my training date is confirmed?
Confirm your enrollment and training schedule first. NYFAM’s published refund policy states that the organization is not responsible for travel, lodging, lost wages or other incidental expenses.
