Can I attend NYFAF training?
Who is NYFAF training designed for?
What are the enrollment requirements?
NYFAF states that participants should hold active professional credentials and provide licensing information as requested. Eligibility for hands-on participation may depend on professional role, course level and applicable regulations.
Do I need prior injectable experience?
Foundational courses are designed for providers with little or no prior injectable experience. Advanced programs are intended for practitioners who already have foundational training or equivalent experience.
Can registered nurses attend?
Registered nurses are included among NYFAF’s intended participants. Scope of practice, supervision and the ability to perform injectable procedures vary by jurisdiction.
What happens during training?
Is NYFAF training hands-on?
Yes. The current program describes live-model injections under direct faculty supervision, with treatment planning, technique, safety, patient assessment and complication-awareness built into the clinical experience.
Are live models provided?
NYFAF states that live models and injection materials are provided for the clinical phase. Outside models and products are not permitted under the current participation clarifications.
What does the dermal filler curriculum cover?
The live site lists areas including lips, cheek and midface volumization, chin and jawline contouring, nasolabial folds, tear trough correction and full-face aesthetic consultation. Course depth depends on the program selected.
What makes the NYFAF format different from a large seminar?
NYFAF emphasizes small-group instruction, direct faculty supervision, live-model opportunities, real clinic workflow experience and ongoing post-training mentorship rather than observation-only education.
What is included in the course fee?
The current site generally lists didactic sessions, supervised hands-on training, live-model practice, course materials, completion documentation and post-training mentorship access. Exact inclusions vary by course.
Traveling to New York for training?
What visa do international participants usually use?
NYFAF’s current guidance says many participants apply for the B-1/B-2 visitor category for short professional training. Visa requirements differ by applicant, so participants should verify their circumstances with the appropriate U.S. embassy or consulate.
What visa-support documents can NYFAF provide?
The current international information lists an invitation letter, enrollment confirmation, course schedule or agenda, payment receipt and training-location verification.
Does NYFAF guarantee visa approval?
No. Visa decisions are made independently by U.S. government authorities.
Does NYFAF help with hotels or airport transportation?
NYFAF provides hotel recommendations, airport-arrival guidance, transportation tips and commute information. The current site says it does not directly arrange airport transfers.
Know the terms before you register.
When is enrollment confirmed?
The published refund policy states that enrollment is confirmed after full payment or an approved payment arrangement.

What if NYFAF cancels a course?
The published policy says participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date if NYFAF cancels a course.
